Our History
Southern Timber Frame was founded in 1995 by its original partners Marion and the late Frank Burgess.
Frank Burgess had many years experience in manufacturing timber frame for the building industry and Marion is an experienced administrator.
Company Partners
Southern Timber Frame is owned by Marion Burgess who over the years has appointed 3 further partners to assist in the running of the buisness.
These partners are Paul Nash, Simon Joyce and Darren Morgan , who all have considerable experience in various aspects of the timber frame industry, and have been committed to the development of the company for many years.

Certification and Health and Safety
The company has made Health and Safety a priority and are consistently looking for ways to further improve. We also employ a specialist organisation to assist with H&S laws and procedures.
During it’s years of growth, Southern Timber Frame has achieved PEFC Certification and has obtained a Q-Mark from the STA (Structural Timber Association). STF is also a member of TRADA and the Federation of Small Businesses.
